Natasha Kaplinsky OBE, Broadcaster. For services to Holocaust Commemoration

Natasha Kaplinsky is patron of a number of charities and an Ambassador for Save the Children as well as being a leading broadcaster. In 2014 she became a member of the Prime Minister’s Holocaust Commission and in 2015, was appointed by the Prime Minister to the United Kingdom Holocaust Memorial Foundation advisory board. On a completely pro bono basis, she spent hundreds of hours interviewing more than 100 British survivors of the Holocaust, many of whom had never spoken about their experiences before. Natasha has made an invaluable contribution to British Holocaust history by giving survivors the chance to preserve their stories for future generations. She was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2017.
