Nitin Palan MBE. For services to Interfaith Relations

Nitin Palan is an interfaith champion, a philanthropist and social innovator who has established a number of successful projects that promote social cohesion. These include his Mitzvah Day school bank initiative which was the first of its kind bring together Hindu and Jewish students to help improve the lives of people of all faiths in the local community. He co-founded the Diwali on Trafalgar Square event which now attracts thousands of people every year. He received an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2017.
